Walter Gustav Teichert (WG) was during a dramatic time born 17.9.1917 and died 24.05.2000. He was born into a German family. By fate he came to live in Denmark after the Danish border was moved in 1920.

WG lived his life intensively. His big love, Dagny, neé Christiansen, was born 11.09.1915 and died 24.11.2004, and he loved her his whole life.

Walter Teichert's life became part of Denmark's history in the Southern part of Jutland as well as in Copenhagen with contacts both abroad and locally in Denmark. He was always curious of what was behind the blue mountains.

WG built important parts of Denmark. This man was responsible for building almost all the schools in the municipality of Rodovre(cph), the musical school: Skt. Annæ Gymnasium, TV-city, the Ice Stadions of Rodovre and Gladsaxe (cph), several schools, swimming stadions and flats as well as houses all over Denmark.

The craft, mansoneer, which gave his life meaning, has since then been changed.
